After serving over 11,000 families in Caddo Parish and issuing over $32,476,736 in assistance, the Parish’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) has stopped accepting applications as of January 19, 2022, as there are enough applications submitted to fully expend the limited funding that remains.

Effective November 2022, Caddo Parish received additional ERA funding from US Treasury, and used this funding to assist families who were in the midst of eligibility review when prior funding was exhausted. This funding is also now fully allocated and no further funding is available at this time. While the ERAP program allows up to 15 months of rental and utility assistance, some applicants that received some payments may not receive 15 months of payments, as all available funding will be exhausted.

As of March 2023, the Program has now allocated more than $47.1 million in rent and utility assistance to renters in Caddo Parish deemed eligible for program funds. At this time, it is unknown if US Treasury will be providing additional funding to the Caddo Parish ERA program in the future. If there is an update, it will be posted here.

Contact the ERA Program by calling (318) 239-7772, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for observed holidays. The ERA Program receives and accepts Video Relay Service (VRS) calls from people who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing.
